Soya fodders

Soya grain is a highly-effective fodder. It is rich with protein, indispensible amino acids and energy providing high productivity of animals and poultry. Being so, grains, as well as flour, oil cakes and other products of soya treatment may be used.

The soybean meal is the soft uniform wet light-yellow mass without odour, with high protein content.
It is obtained in the process of oil production from soya seeds. The soybean meal contains a wide set of mineral substances, amino acids and proteins. It is used as the basis for various mixed fodders. This is one of the best products of the vegetable origin for feeding the agricultural animals.
The soybean meal is well digested, and by its nutritional value is close to proteins of animal origin. It is widely used in cattle breeding.
The soybean meal is also a unique vegetable source of ferrum, which is easily digested by the body. It contains a large quantity of nutritional substances of integer soya, and it is considered one of the best sources of vegetable protein, raw protein reaches 49%, accessibility is equal to 75-90%. By biological fullmouthed properties of soybean meal protein considerably overpasses proteins of cereals. The soybean meal has a high level of exchange energy and indispensible amino acids, such as lysine, methionine, threonine, arginine , etc. It contains a large quantity of vitamins of group В and Е, potassium and phosphorus.
By the total content of proteins and their biological value the soybean meal is the best vegetable raw material in production of mixed fodders, and it has positive impact on:
- increase of daily weight gain at breeding;
- increase of milk yield and higher milk quality;
- better digestion and accessibility of mixed fodder;
- improvement of the general state of animals;
- less cattle loss.
The soybean meal can be added to the main ration (the recommended introduction standard up to 20%) for any animals, including poultry, fish, dogs, cats, cattle.
The soy protein is well digested by the organism, and by the biological value it is close to proteins of animal origin. The high content of energy and protein in the soybean meal makes it possible to prepare highly protein and energy rations without application of expensive fats. The soybean meal is used for feeding all types of animals, poultry, fish, both straight and as a part of mixed fodders.

Full-fat soybean is the product obtained as a result of treatment of soybeans without oil separation.
As the use of raw soya in rations is limited due to a large quantity of anti-nutritional substances (inhibitors of tripsin, saponines, hemaglutamines, etc.), during production of full-fat soybeans the aforesaid factors are deactivated, first of all, inhibitors of protease and urease, and increase of the biological value of soya. This makes it possible to increase the content of proteins in mixed fodder.
Being so, as compared with the use of soya in the non-processed form their total nutritional value increases by almost 20%.
Application of extruded soya in feeds for poultry.
Full-fat extruded soybeans represent a high-calorific universal feed rich with protein, which is ideal for all types of animals and poultry. It has a high feeding value. It replenishes the deficit of protein and amino acids for animals, when their deficiency is one of the main reasons of low productivity. This is especially important, if we consider that soya protein is cheaper than wheat, milk and meat protein, and it is more suitable for sanitary and hygienic positions for production of ecologically pure meat of animals, milk and eggs.
The use of extruded soya for broilers gives the following advantages:
1. Increase of exchange energy up to 17 МJ in 1 kg in a dry substance of the fodder.
2. Effective change (by 34-41%) of the required toasted soybean meal at the final stage of breeding with the improvement of conversion and production indicators, including without increased loss and deterioration of carcasses quality.
3. Higher contents of most important, indispensible fatty acids (linoleic, linolenoic) in carcasses by increasing their biological nutritional value for humans.
When pullets and laying-hens are fed with full-fat soybeans, the following is observed:
1. Higher quality of shells and lower consumption of fodder per 1 egg (by 7%), as compared with the soybean meal, increased productivity of laying hens (by 4%). These indicators are even higher in relation to sunflower meal.
2. Possibility of full provision of linoleic acid for poultry (soya extrudate – homogenous slurry with the content of this acid 9.5 – 10.5%), what improves exchange processes, retains fatness and mass of carcasses.
Rations of laying hens have 6-7% of extrudate, what is enough for the balance of exchange energy and linoleic acid. The PVMS created on the basis of extruded soya for laying hens with the norm of input 8% makes it possible to fully resolve the ration problems by the balance of amino acids, energy, micro and macro elements and to make the ration cheaper by 5-12%. The share of extruded soya in bulky mixed fodder must not exceed 30%. When the input level increases, granulation is needed. For feeding turkeys and other big poultry at early stages of their growth (7-8 weeks) the safe level of introduction of extruded soya to feeds up to 10%, at further stages up to 20% by mass of mixed fodder.
Application of extruded soya in fodder for cattle.
Substantiation of application of extruded fodder for cattle is explained by ршпр demands of energy for highly productive cows. As a result of consumption of extruded soya the milk volume increases, there are no weight losses during lactation (consumption of 1 kg of extruded soya per 1 head/day increases the daily milk yield by 0.5 kg and fat content by 0.2%). The soya extrudate for feeding adult specimens and youngsters improves the mixed fodder taste by promoting quick addiction and increase of fodder eating. Besides, soya consumption makes it possible to retain the required specifications in milk, which improve quality of cream, cheeses, butter, etc.
Even small (up to 10%) inclusions of extruded soya are economically expedient to feedings of castrated bullates and beef bulls, which badly need energy saturated and highly nutritional rations. Being so, high growth rates are retained, especially at the final stage of feeding, when consumption of fodders may be reduced.
Application of extruded soya for pigs feeding.
Extruded soya is the most valuable protein and energy-bearing component of mixed fodders for all technological groups of pigs due to splendid balance of amino acids and indispensible fatty acids. Nutritional and cheap soya fodders make it possible for the farms specialized in production of pork to increase the average daily growth of live mass of animals by two times, and to reduce expenses for 1 kg of growth from 9.3 to 4.5 fodder units. The cost of rations owing to saving of fodders of the animal origin is reduced by 20-30%.
In rations for piglets provision of the required energy level in the easy-to-assimilate form is the important condition, as assimilation efficiency of carbohydrates at the stage of early development is very low. Therefore, the full-fat soybeans with the high content of protein and vegetable fat are considered the ideal variant for piglets feeding (growth of youngsters increases by 12-25%).
